Our next property, The Other House Covent Garden nestled in the heart of theatre land in the West End, is due to open soon and we have acquired another site in Belgravia, that means plenty of progression opportunities! Whilst our initial focus is to build the brand in central London, (arguably the best capital city in the world), the venture will roll out globally, catering for aspirational business and leisure travellers everywhere, whatever their length of stay.

Role: Food & Beverage Manager
Reporting to: General Manager
Working Hours: average of 40 hours per day based on an 5 days out of 7 schedule
The Other House is looking for a dynamic and energetic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and optimise all aspects of our F&B departments. The Food & Beverage Manager will focus on curating and delivering The Other House food and beverage operations, with a drive to provide impeccable experiences across all F&B and member areas.
This individual will have a strong background in food and beverage hospitality; they will be flexible and detailed, with effective communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service. iimplementing innovative strategies and maintaining high standards, this is a pivotal role in driving the success of our F&B departments and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

The key responsibilities of the role are:
Deliver a Memorable and unique experience for our residents and guests
Lead the F&B Department (Restaurant, Bar Kitchen and Events) Fostering a “united team” approach.
Establish and measure F&B Objectives, targets, incentives and KPI’s for and effective F&B Department
Create reports – feed into monthly and annual forecasting.
Monitor the cleanliness of the F&B Department both BOH and FOH.
Stock Control – Liase with F&B Cost Controller, Stock Controller and suppliers – reporting on any discrepancies
Responsibility for managing F&B related technology (see systems used) both inhouse and external. Ensure all information is accurate and up to date and all HouseMates are trained.
Work with relevant departments to develop and implement Menus and other F&B projects
Continuously develop the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, appraising and developing our talented House Mates.
Being flexible and creative, working outside the box and across all areas of the house as per the business needs and in line with management directions
The successful Food & Beverage Manager applicant will demonstrate:
Previous F&B management in a hospitality environment
You will be well organised, efficient, detailed, and highly productive individual with a proactive and flexible approach
Have a “Jack of All Trades” attitude to collaboration and hands on involvement across other departments
A willingness to work flexible hours in line with business needs and requirements
Understanding of the company Standard Operating Procedures, acting in accordance with agreed processes at all times
A flare for both BOH operational efficiency and FOH service standards
Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment with an energised, engaging, and positive personality
About you - We are looking for someone who has:
A natural flair for delivering and modelling generous and thoughtful hospitality, towards our team and guests
Previous management experience in a Food & Beverage environment
The ability to lead across all F&B departments (restaurant/bar/kitchen/events)
Experience of financial and budgetary management for F&B departments and a track record of embracing technology to deliver operational efficiencies
Positive and engaging with good interpersonal skills
Outstanding organisational and communication skills
Strong task and time management skills
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, POS, procurement software,) and comfortable with smart device technology
Relevant and up to date knowledge of Food Hygiene and Licensing Legislation (ideally certified)
Up to date with the latest F&B trends and best practice
Entrepreneurial, thinks out of the box and able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies/synergies
Flexible with a flair for intuitive service
Excellent command of English both verbal and written
The right to work in the UK
