Our first property is in beautiful South Kensington, opened in the summer of 2022 to great acclaimOur next property will be nestled in the heart of the West End, due to open in in the near future – The Other House Covent Garden will offer plenty of progression opportunities  Whilst the initial focus is to stay in central London, the venture will roll out globally, catering for the aspirational business and leisure traveller for short and long-term stays.

SUMMARY - BAR SUPERVISOR

The Bar Supervisor will work closely with Bar Manager and team to manage the day-to-day operations serving a mix of residents, members, and guests. 

You will have excellent customer service and real passion with everything related to Food and Drink.  They need to have a strong background in mixology and bar operations with a passion for creating memorable moments. They may have managed a small bar operation previously and are now looking to grow within an entrepreneurial and ambitious brand, with excellent opportunities for development. 

The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the bar, including recruiting, training and scheduling team, driving service standards, managing stocks, ordering, and expanding the drinks offer in line with brand requirements. 

All About You:

  • Ability to challenge the status quo with an instinct for delivering the ultimate experience, especially when under pressure 

  • Good employment history & experience in ideally working in luxury 4 or 5 star properties(Hotels or Members clubs)

  • Supervise a team both on the floor and behind the bar.  Help them flourish and be the stars of the operation!

  • Diligent to training of the team and be on hand to support he Bar Manager with any admin duties

  • Ability to entertain & engage with residents/members whilst serving drinks 

  • Keen interest in hospitality, good product knowledge about spirits and classic cocktails, a desire to learn and develop with us 

  • Great command of English – both verbally and written 

  • Passionate and hard-working attitude, with a desire to make The Other House team proud 

  • Approachable, professional attitude with an eye for attention to detail 

  • Ability to be constantly vigilant for opportunities to upsell and increase revenue for The Other House 

  • A cheeky and confident character –someone who will get on with everyone! 

  • A clean, smart and professional appearance
