Job Summary:
The Guest Liaison is responsible for creating a welcoming and personalized experience for guests from arrival to departure. Acting as the main point of contact, they assist with check-ins, address guest inquiries, handle special requests, and resolve any issues to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay. With a focus on providing exceptional service, the Guest Liaison works closely with various departments to meet guest needs and enhance their overall experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Matric / Hospitality Diploma.
Ø Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø A warm and friendly demeanour with a passion for providing outstanding guest service.
Ø Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel property management software.
Ø Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ø Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Ø Knowledge of local attractions, services, and amenities to assist guests.
Ø Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ø High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.

Guest Welcome:
Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival at the hotel.
Provide a friendly and professional first point of contact.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
Provide information about room rates, packages, and hotel amenities.
Information and Assistance:
Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel's services, facilities, and local attractions.
Assist guests with reservations for dining, spa, and other activities.
Room Assignments:
Assign guest rooms based on reservations and guest preferences.
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
Guest Services:
Provide exceptional service to guests throughout their stay.
Address guest requests promptly and professionally.
Telephone and Email Communication:
Answer incoming calls and respond to email inquiries.
Direct calls and messages to the appropriate department or staff member.
Billing and Payments:
Process guest payments, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
Ensure accurate billing and accounting procedures.
Guest Relations:
Build positive relationships with guests and anticipate their needs.
Act as a point of contact for special requests and VIP guests.
Safety and Security:
Follow hotel security protocols and report any suspicious activities or safety concerns.
Assist in emergency situations as required.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of guest information and requests.
Prepare reports and documentation as needed.
