We’re looking for a Bartender to join our talented team at The Parakeet. 

As a member of the Bar Team, you are the personality behind the bars and the expert of the drinks menu. You'll inject your positive energy into every moment you’re in the venue and provide a speedy service to ensure our beloved pub delivers operational excellence. You’ll work closely with your team to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere our guests will love. 

The Parakeet is a Public House and Dining Room situated in the heart of Kentish Town. The perfect space to enjoy great local beers and ales alongside a selection of carefully curated wines and spirits. With a focus on local and seasonal produce, the kitchen delivers a woodfired menu of delectable small plates and on Sundays, the best roasts in the city. 

What You’ll Do:

• Serve cocktails and drinks to spec with speed and care

• Deliver warm, memorable service on every shift

• Keep the bar clean, organised, and well-stocked

• Learn and grow through regular training and mentorship

• Support your team and share knowledge along the way

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar.

• Strong communicator and team player.

• Passionate about hospitality, people, and personal growth.

• Driven, reliable, and eager to contribute to a vibrant team culture.

• A love for music, nightlife, and London’s dining scene.

What to Expect:

• Competitive Pay: £12.21 per hour plus tronc (total package usually in the range of £13.46-£14.50 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.

• The is a lively pub and casual fine-dining restaurant, so our teams work a variety of daytime and evening shifts during the week.
