We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable Barback to join our brilliant bar team at The Parakeet. 

This is a vital role that keeps the bar running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll support the bartenders during busy service, help maintain a clean, well-stocked workspace, and ensure guests receive drinks promptly. 

The Parakeet is a Public House and Dining Room situated in the heart of Kentish Town. The perfect space to enjoy great local beers and ales alongside a selection of carefully curated wines and spirits. With a focus on local and seasonal produce, the kitchen delivers a woodfired menu of delectable small plates and on Sundays, the best roasts in the city. 

What You’ll Do:

• Restock fridges, spirits, and glassware throughout service

• Keep the bar clean, organised, and prepped for speed

• Support bartenders by clearing and resetting the bar area

• Assist with deliveries and stock rotation

• Contribute to a positive, team-focused atmosphere

What to Expect:

• Competitive Pay: £12.21 per hour plus tronc (total package usually in the range of £12.71- £14.50 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
