ROLE OVERVIEW
To further elevate and enhance our operations, we are seeking an accomplished Host & Club Receptionist to contribute and deliver on the club’s success, providing exceptional experiences for our members.
The ideal candidate is a polished, personable, and highly professional Receptionist with experience in luxury hospitality or private member clubs. As the first point of contact, this role is central to creating a warm, seamless, and discreet arrival experience for members and their guests.
Working across reception and reservations touchpoints, the Host & Club Receptionist will manage bookings, welcome members, and coordinate closely with the wider floor and reservations teams to ensure a smooth and highly personalised journey throughout the club. The ideal candidate combines natural hosting ability with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Deliver a warm, polished, and professional welcome to all members and guests upon arrival
· Manage check-ins and reservations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
· Handle incoming calls, emails, and booking requests in a timely and professional manner
· Maintain up-to-date and detailed member profiles, including preferences and notes
· Coordinate with restaurant, bar, and floor teams to manage guest flow across the club
· Assist with table allocation, waitlists, and real-time booking adjustments
· Support VIP arrivals and special requests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience
· Maintain the reception area to the highest standards of presentation and organisation
· Provide information about the club’s facilities, events, and offerings confidently and accurately
· Handle member enquiries and feedback with discretion and professionalism
· Support the wider reception, reservations and front of house team as required during busy periods
· Uphold all data protection, privacy, and security standards
REQUIREMENTS
· Previous experience in a host, receptionist, or front-of-house role within a luxury hospitality or private members club environment preferred
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage guests
· Professional, polished appearance and demeanour
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
· Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
· Basic experience with reservations or booking systems is advantageous
· High level of discretion and understanding of private members’ club culture
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak operational periods
· A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
