We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team within the Concierge as Luggage Porter.


RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining The Ritz London’s 5-star luxury standards. As a Luggage Porter, responsibilities also include:

  • Greeting and offering assistance to guests in a polite friendly and appropriate manner
  • Ensuring the efficient, secure and safe transportation of all luggage and belongings of guests to and from rooms as required
  • To assist the Hall Porter whenever requested
  • To pack and post guests parcels and ensure accurate records are kept of all items sent
  • To assist the porter, front office and switchboard in taking messages and delivering them promptly to guest rooms

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant experience in a 5* property is desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
