We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team within Housekeeping as Departmental Trainer.


RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The successful candidate will be committed to planning, implementing and reviewing departmental training to ensure it meets the need and standards of The Ritz. As a Housekeeping Departmental Trainer, responsibilities also include:

  •  To carry departmental induction programmes for new starters to the required standards
  • To train all new Housekeeping starters to the required standards and to monitor closely there after
  • To prepare, implement and follow up on initial departmental training plans for new employees
  • To review and update the departmental training plan and record on a monthly basis
  • To carry out the required administration record for any training in the department
  • To lead and manage Health & Safety policies for the department


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Relevant experience in a 5* property is desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
  • Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written
  • Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
