POSITION OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Ritz Restaurant Department as a Chef de Rang.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our guests while upholding The Ritz London’s renowned 5-star luxury standards. As a Chef de Rang, you will play a pivotal role in the guest dining experience by overseeing a designated section of the restaurant, managing all aspects of service with precision and poise under the guidance of the Head Waiter/Waitress. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior team members, taking orders, serving dishes and beverages with elegance, and ensuring every detail meets our exacting standards. Pride in presentation, in-depth menu knowledge, and the ability to anticipate guest needs are essential. You will also support the seamless operation of the restaurant by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organisation within your station and assisting colleagues as needed to uphold the overall excellence of service.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant experience in a 5-Star or fine dining property
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
