POSITION OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team at The Ritz London as a Health & Safety Coordinator.

This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in health and safety within a luxury hospitality environment. Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager, the successful candidate will provide administrative support across a range of compliance activities related to health, safety, and hygiene—particularly during our current hotel projects.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining documentation, assisting with internal audits and training schedules, supporting food safety compliance efforts, and coordinating with various departments to ensure consistent application of health and safety standards throughout the hotel.

A keen interest or studies in health and safety, food hygiene, or related fields would be highly beneficial, as would previous experience in a similar administrative or hospitality role.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role, ideally within a hospitality, facilities, or compliance-based environment
  • Experience working with Navitas, or similar safety and compliancy software, is beneficial
  • Experience or knowledge of food safety and hygiene is beneficial
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
  • Great command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Confident and professional attitude to internal colleagues and external guests and contractors
