Assistant Manager - Award Winning Pub, Bar and Restaurant Group - Quality - London
The Rose Pub and Kitchen is currently recruiting for a talented and ambitious Assistant Manager!
The Rose is the perfect spot for great drinks, delicious seasonal food and absolutely the finest pizza in South East London. A visit to our awesome beer garden is a New Cross right of passage and inside our beautiful pub is the perfect place to meet up with friends and family for drinks, a bite, or both. We also boast 2 private hire rooms perfect for your next party. Our chefs work with some great producers and suppliers to create our ever-changing, seasonal food menu and we pride ourselves on our mouth-watering Sunday roasts and awesome stone fired pizzas.
The Role
- As Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business.
- Be business savvy and demonstrate great commercial acumen.
- Your team will look up to you, it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
- You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
What we looking for:
- "Wear your heart on your sleave", take ownership, be bold and run the business as if it's your own
- Be cool, calm and collected, manage pressure with ease, nothing can phase you
- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get stuff done
- Must have minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager depending on the property being looked at
- Solid communication and organisational skills, be approachable
- Superb customer & floor service skills
- Strong all-round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction
- An entrepreneurial flare
- Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team but most importantly, loves to have fun
- Personal License holder beneficial
