We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our family! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service across a range of offerings including fine dining, breakfast, afternoon tea, bar service, room service, private dining, and events. This position will be reporting into the Food & Beverage Manager.

Location: The Rubens At the Palace Hotel

Working pattern: full time / 5 days on 2 days off

Salary: Competitive

 

Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager:

  • Day to day operational management including Restaurants, Bars, Room Service, Banqueting and Events. 
  • Responsible for procurement and the managing of all stock.
  • Have financial oversight by monitoring budgets, payroll and costs.
  • Ensuring the team are trained to enable the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Managing the service delivery to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure.  

We are we looking for?

  • Passion and someone who is on top of industry trends.
  • A high level of “on the floor” management and operational presence and support.
  • Appreciation and experience of quality luxury hotel service, ideally 5 Star.
  • Strong commercial understanding and proven track record of managing food and beverage Budget and food and beverage associated costs.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with clear ability to train, motivate and get the best from each team member.
  • An appreciation and love of food and beverage product – important working relationship and respect of kitchen team.
  • A thorough understanding of how the Food and Beverage experience impacts the overall guests stay.
  • Ability to creatively manage and support talented  team members to achieve their goals.
