Position: Restaurant Manager - Kaspar's
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Restaurants, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
-To control and orchestrate the service of Food and Beverage and maximise guest satisfaction through anticipating guest requests and responding to special requests positively.
-To maximise any and all revenue generating opportunities, effective yielding, introducing and maintaining incentives and motivating programs for the colleagues within the department.
-Motivate, support, train and lead a team in any given outlet of the property.
-Develop the leadership skills of leaders in the Restaurant. This includes the development of decision making skills, performance management techniques, function planning ability, process mapping and analysis, and sense of urgency and ownership.
-Ensure effective working relationships and clear communication are maintained with all colleagues and leaders in the restaurant and other departments.
-Develop and administer the departmental Employee Engagement Survey Action Plan and use monthly Peakon data to ensure that we are maximising our colleague experience through engagement.
-Ensure the financial success of the department by monitoring productivity, revenues and costs.
-To create and implement all beverage menus within the department as well as work closely with the kitchen on the creation of all food menus.
-Achieve or exceed all targeted objectives as it relates to our pillars (Forbes, LQA, Peakon etc)
