Originally built in 1889, the hotel has a rich history and has played host to royalty, world leaders and legends of the stage and screen.

Position: Chef de Partie - Simpsons Kitchen
Showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients and quality produce of the British Isles, the menu features long-standing favourites such as steamed Steak & Kidney suet pudding and hearty Lord Woolton pie, alongside salt-baked Lincolnshire beets and hand-dived Scottish scallops, and larder staples like Gentleman’s Relish, Pease Pudding, and Potted Shrimp.

The care and quality you devote to food preparation as Chef de Partie (CDP) will result in truly spectacular fare that delights our guests. As our CDP, your role is to prepare, cook and present our stunning food for our Simpsons' guests.

You’ll work with many types of ingredients, as a fine dining restaurant will rotate its menu and use fresh, seasonal produce. Fresh ingredients have a low shelf life so the stock will be monitored so the fresh food is not contaminated. It’s important that you store food items correctly and adhere to health and hygiene procedures.
