Salary - £9.42 per hour (plus average tips of £1.50 per hour)
As Chef de Partie you’ll play a key role in the running of our professional kitchens and you’ll be encouraged to learn and grow your skills with the opportunity to experience different styles of food and kitchen environments across our restaurants.
We are looking for a passionate chef who will support the kitchen with the running of your section and acting as a role model for the kitchen team. You will share our love for the industry and have an eye for detail.
WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO
- Running your section and ensuring the kitchen is prepped and ready for service
- Organising others under your supervision ensuring the correct working methods are followed
- Taking an active role in keeping stock loss/wastage to a minimum
- Delivering team training sessions and food and drink tastings
- Learning about our products by attending master classes and supplier visits
KEY SKILLS
- A passion for food

- Demonstrating strong company and menu knowledge
The Seafood Restaurant was the first restaurant opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975. The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow is famous for establishing an international reputation for the very freshest fish and shellfish, often landed on our doorstep. In the centre of the restaurant is a Seafood Bar where guests can enjoy watching chefs assembling platters of oysters, langoustines and sashimi.
