Front of House Supervisor – Multi-Venue

Great food. Genuine hospitality. A team to lead. A group to grow with.

At Rick Stein Restaurants, we believe great hospitality is about more than exceptional food. It’s about creating an experience that feels warm, relaxed and memorable — every time.

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor to work across our venues, supporting our teams and helping us maintain the high standards that make Rick Stein Restaurants what they are.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys variety and is at their best when they’re leading from the front. You’ll work alongside different teams and management across our venues, bringing energy, experience and consistency wherever you’re needed.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and supporting front-of-house teams across our venues, helping each service run smoothly and efficiently
  • Creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every guest receives genuinely great hospitality
  • Supporting teams during busy services, stepping in wherever you’re needed and leading by example
  • Helping to maintain consistent service standards across the group while recognising what makes each venue unique
  • Coaching, supporting and developing team members, helping them build confidence and improve their skills
  • Sharing your knowledge of our food, seafood, wines, drinks and menus with both guests and colleagues
  • Anticipating guest needs and handling questions, requests and challenges with confidence
  • Working closely with restaurant managers, chefs and bar teams to deliver seamless service
  • Supporting the opening, closing and smooth day-to-day running of our venues
  • Assisting with training and onboarding, helping new team members understand our approach to hospitality
  • Supporting management with operational tasks, including staffing, service planning and maintaining standards
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the Rick Stein brand across every venue you work in

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is confident, capable and genuinely passionate about hospitality.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Front of House Supervisor, Team Leader or similar role
  • The confidence to take responsibility and lead a team during a busy service
  • A natural ability to motivate, support and bring the best out of others
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships quickly with different teams
  • A genuine interest in food, wine and, of course, seafood
  • A calm and professional approach when things get busy
  • The flexibility to work across different venues and adapt quickly to different teams and environments
  • High standards and an eye for detail, without losing sight of the importance of relaxed, genuine hospitality
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
  • The ability to travel between our venues as part of the role

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who cares about doing things properly, enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating experiences that guests remember.

What you’ll get

  • Competitive pay plus tips
  • Free staff meals and generous discounts across Rick Stein Restaurants, Rooms and Shops
  • Ongoing training and development, including food, wine, service and leadership
  • The opportunity to work alongside experienced hospitality teams across multiple venues
  • Real opportunities to progress within a growing and respected hospitality group
  • A supportive, inclusive environment where your experience and ideas are valued
  • Extra holiday allowance for length of service, up to 5 additional days after 5 years
  • Access to discounts across hundreds of retailers, health, entertainment, travel and more

Why Rick Stein?

You’ll be joining a team that cares about doing things well — from the food we serve to the way we look after our guests and each other.

Working across multiple venues means no two days are quite the same. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, support different teams, develop your leadership skills and play an important part in maintaining the standards and hospitality our guests know and love.

If you’re an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, thrives on variety and wants to be part of something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.
