The Sicilian Butcher is a modern-casual, meatball and butchery-inspired concept—chef-driven and rooted in Italian tradition. Developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore and the team behind Tomaso’s, Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Baker, The Sicilian Butcher delivers a scratch kitchen experience, premium craft cocktails, and unmatched hospitality in an elevated atmosphere.

We are currently seeking a high-performing, experienced Assistant General Manager who is looking to grow quickly into a General Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity to lead alongside seasoned operators while preparing for your next step in restaurant leadership.


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of high-volume, full-service restaurant management experience
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financials, and training
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for both guests and team members
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Suite

A Day in The Life
As an Assistant General Manager at The Sicilian Butcher, you will work directly alongside the General Manager and leadership team to run day-to-day operations while preparing to take on full GM responsibilities. You’ll mentor staff, ensure excellence in service and food quality, and help drive performance and culture in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Ensure exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or issues
  • Promote a clean, organized, and positive work environment
  • Supervise daily restaurant shifts and provide leadership support
  • Lead and coach team members to meet performance goals
  • Assist with labor and food cost management, inventory, and ordering
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of team members
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Sicilian Butcher standards and culture
  • Prepare to transition into a General Manager role through hands-on development
