The Sicilian Butcher is a modern-casual, meatball and butchery-inspired concept, chef-driven and rooted in Italian tradition. Created by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore and the team behind Tomaso’s, Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Baker, The Sicilian Butcher delivers scratch-made Italian cuisine, craft cocktails, and genuine hospitality in an elevated, neighborhood-style setting.
As we expand, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our location and represent the brand with excellence.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of high-volume, full-service restaurant management experience
Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development
A guest-first mentality and commitment to exceptional service
Proven track record of operational and financial performance
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and basic POS systems
A Day in The Life
As the General Manager, you are the heartbeat of the restaurant, leading operations, inspiring your team, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring execution across all departments, driving team performance, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations (FOH & BOH)
Ensure outstanding guest experiences through leadership and team engagement
Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team
Manage labor, food, and beverage costs to achieve profitability targets
Execute brand standards and uphold quality, cleanliness, and safety protocols
Act as the point of contact for guest relations and conflict resolution
Partner with recruiting and training to onboard and develop new talent
Maintain a positive and professional culture rooted in Italian hospitality
Send weekly updates to regional leadership and contribute to growth planning
