Who We Are
The Sicilian Butcher is a modern-casual meatball and butchery-inspired concept, proudly developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore and the team behind Tomaso’s, Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Baker. Known for our scratch kitchen, craft cocktails, and vibrant Italian hospitality, The Sicilian Butcher delivers a fresh, chef-driven experience. We’re bringing this dynamic concept to Nashville, Tennessee – and we’re looking for a strong Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations.


What We Offer

  • Base Salary: $75,000 – $80,000
  • Bonus Potential: Up to $9,750 annually

Requirements

  • 3+ years of high-volume, full-service kitchen or BOH management experience
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and kitchen management software
  • Must be ServeSafe certified or able to obtain certification upon hire

A Day in the Life
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll lead a back-of-house team in executing The Sicilian Butcher’s signature scratch-made Italian menu. You’ll uphold our high culinary standards while ensuring smooth operations, exceptional food quality, and a positive kitchen culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage weekly prep and cook schedules based on labor targets
  • Execute recipes with precision according to The Sicilian Butcher’s standards
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, and consistency
  • Lead BOH team meetings and monitor ongoing training progress
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance at all times
  • Maintain proper product ordering, inventory, and storage protocols
  • Manage food costs, minimize waste, and control BOH expenses
  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and organization
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure service alignment
  • Provide coaching and corrective action when necessary
  • Support successful restaurant launch and team development in our new Nashville location
