The Sicilian Butcher is a chef-driven, modern Italian restaurant created by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore, the visionary behind Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Baker, Tomaso’s, and The Mexicano. Known for scratch-made pastas, craft cocktails, and bold Italian hospitality. We’re looking for experienced Lead Expos to help ensure our service is seamless and precise for our guests.

What You'll Do as a Lead Expo

As a Lead Expo, you're the communication bridge between the kitchen and the dining room. You oversee food quality and timing, lead expo line coordination, and ensure every dish meets presentation and accuracy standards before it hits the table.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the expo line and oversee food flow during busy service periods

  • Ensure all dishes are accurate, complete, and plated to brand standards

  • Communicate clearly and assertively with both BOH and FOH teams

  • Track ticket times and help prioritize items during rushes

  • Act as the liaison between chefs, servers, and runners to maintain service speed and order accuracy

  • Support FOH management in shift execution and training of expo/runners

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and pass

  • Uphold safety, food handling, and sanitation standards


What We’re Looking For
  • 1–2 years of expo or line coordination experience in a high-volume kitchen

  • Strong leadership, multitasking, and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-first mentality and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
