Description

The Sicilian Butcher is a modern-casual, chef-driven Italian restaurant developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore—the creative mind behind Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Baker, Tomaso’s, and The Mexicano. Known for our signature scratch-made pastas, craft meatballs, and bold flavors, we’re launching our first location in San Antonio, TX, and we’re looking for Expo/Food Runners to help us deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Why Work With Us?

  • Be part of an exciting restaurant opening from Day One

  • Join a growing brand with real career advancement opportunities

  • Work in a fun, team-oriented, high-energy environment

  • Flexible schedules and competitive hourly pay

  • Learn from seasoned professionals in a chef-driven kitchen

What You’ll Do as an Expo / Runner

As an Expo/Food Runner, you are the vital link between the kitchen and the dining room. You ensure that every dish is perfectly plated, accurately delivered, and arrives at the table in a timely and professional manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the flow of plated food from the kitchen to servers

  • Verify ticket accuracy and plate presentation before dishes leave the line

  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery

  • Deliver food to the correct tables with speed, professionalism, and warmth

  • Assist with clearing tables, resetting, and supporting the front-of-house team as needed

  • Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in all food handling

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Expo or Food Runner preferred but not required

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear communication and a guest-first attitude

  • Team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
