What You’ll Do as a Host
As a Host at The Sicilian Butcher, you’re the first and last impression our guests receive. You’ll greet guests with a warm smile, manage seating flow, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
Greet all guests promptly, warmly, and with genuine enthusiasm
Manage reservations and walk-ins using a host stand system or app
Quote accurate wait times and manage the flow of the dining room
Communicate clearly with servers and managers to ensure efficient seating
Answer phones and assist with to-go orders, event inquiries, or general questions
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and front entrance
Provide a positive and professional first impression for every guest
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, outgoing personality and guest-first attitude
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment
Prior experience in hosting, retail, or front desk roles is a plus
Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
