What You’ll Do as a Barista
As a Barista at The Sicilian Butcher, you’ll create memorable moments for guests with every handcrafted drink. You’ll work closely with the front-of-house and pastry teams to maintain a fast, clean, and welcoming café-style environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare and serve espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with consistency and speed
Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment with care and precision
Greet guests warmly and assist with drink or pastry recommendations
Support pastry and dessert counter operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and pastry case
Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and flow
What We’re Looking For
Prior barista or coffee service experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person
Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused personality
Ability to multitask in a busy, high-volume setting
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Basic food handling and sanitation knowledge a plus
Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
