Description
About Us:

The Sicilian Butcher is a chef-driven, modern-casual Italian restaurant known for handcrafted meatballs, house-made pastas, and a vibrant, hospitality-forward atmosphere. Brought to life by the visionary team behind Tomaso’s, The Mexicano, Hash Kitchen, and The Sicilian Baker, we are expanding—and we’re looking for a strong operational leader to help grow our brand.

We’re seeking a high-performing, people-first Area Manager to lead multiple locations, elevate guest experiences, and build up the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Why Join Us:
  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Dining discounts and company perks

  • Growth opportunities with an innovative and rapidly growing restaurant group

  • Collaborative, values-driven culture

What You’ll Do:

As an Area Manager, you’ll oversee restaurant operations across your assigned market, with full accountability for performance, team culture, and guest satisfaction. You’ll work side-by-side with General Managers to develop people, strengthen operations, and grow the brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of General Managers, ensuring store-level excellence in execution and hospitality

  • Coach, mentor, and develop leaders at all levels—building a pipeline of high-potential talent

  • Ensure proper staffing levels and support hiring, onboarding, and scheduling needs

  • Analyze and oversee financials across all locations, improving labor efficiency and cost of goods

  • Cultivate a culture of gratitude, positivity, and accountability

  • Conduct regular store visits, spend meaningful time in each location, and drive hands-on support

  • Facilitate ongoing performance evaluations, shift lead reviews, and manager development plans

  • Support new store openings and brand expansion initiatives in your market

  • Provide weekly operational updates to the VP of Operations and collaborate cross-functionally with Training, HR, and Marketing

  • Execute strategic plans aligned with brand goals while solving day-to-day operational challenges

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field—or equivalent experience

  • 4–7 years of multi-unit management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment

  • Proven track record of building strong teams, driving operational success, and achieving financial targets

  • Strong knowledge of POS, scheduling, and restaurant management platforms

  • Effective communicator with the ability to lead with empathy and confidence

  • Must be ServeSafe certified, at least 21 years of age, and hold a valid driver’s license

  • Willingness to travel regularly and work non-traditional hours as needed

Who We Are:

At The Sicilian Butcher, we bring people together through bold Italian flavors and unforgettable hospitality. We’re more than just a restaurant—we’re a growing brand fueled by passion, culture, and great people.
