We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Regional Pastry Chef to oversee all pastry production and innovation across multiple locations. This role will ensure consistency, lead pastry training, and assist in developing seasonal offerings that elevate our dessert program while supporting kitchen teams and store leadership.

What You’ll Do:

As Regional Pastry Chef, you’ll lead the development and execution of pastry offerings across The Sicilian Baker locations, ensuring consistency, training, and quality control. You’ll work cross-functionally with culinary leaders, managers, and back-of-house teams to maintain brand standards and inspire culinary creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee pastry and dessert production across multiple restaurant and bakery locations

  • Assist in the creation and standardization of recipes for all pastry and baked goods, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation

  • Train and mentor pastry cooks and kitchen teams on production techniques, preparation, and plating

  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure pastry quality, freshness, and execution meet brand standards

  • Assist in the development of seasonal, holiday, and limited-time pastry offerings in collaboration with brand leadership

  • Assist with new store openings, including pastry kitchen setup, team training, and product launches

  • Monitor ingredient quality, cost control, and inventory processes related to pastry production

  • Collaborate with executive chefs, GMs, and training teams to improve kitchen workflows and efficiency

  • Uphold health, sanitation, and safety standards across all pastry operations

  • Participate in brand and marketing initiatives by supporting content shoots and special promotions

What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of pastry leadership experience, preferably in multi-unit or high-volume environments

  • Expertise in scratch baking, plated desserts, laminated doughs, and pastry fundamentals

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and inspire teams

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency

  • Must be ServeSafe certified or willing to obtain certification

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite; experience with kitchen inventory software a plus

  • Willingness to travel regularly between restaurant and bakery locations

  • A passion for Italian-inspired pastry and a desire to push creative boundaries
