We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to support the Executive Head of Housekeeping in the smooth operation of the Housekeeping department by coordinating daily housekeeping operations and maintaining the housekeeping operating standards.

About the role, what will I be doing?

  • Ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all bedrooms and public areas are maintained.
  • Responsible for smooth operation of floors assigned.
  • Supervise room attendants.
  • Ensuring of upkeep of vacant rooms.
  • Organise and facilitates the room making process.
  • Resolving any guest problems or complaints when possible and ensure management are kept informed.
  • Check and report any maintenance issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage guest requests and communicating them to the relevant team members. 
  • Carry out lost and found procedure.
  • To liaise with reception on a daily basis.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel working with a PMS (Opera) system is essential
  • Minimum of 2 years in a housekeeping role with at least 1 years in a supervisory position
  • Highly organized, multitasking individual with a positive attitude & a team player
  • Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure the best business results
  • Excellent communication skills are essential as is the observance of discretion at all times due to the high sensitivity of the information handled
  • An exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems
