We are currently looking for an experienced Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our team at The Stafford London Hotel.

  • Strong supervisory and communication skills
  • Flexible in working hours and shifts
  • Highly organized, multitasking individual with a positive attitude & a team player
  • Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure the best business results
  • An exceptional attention to detail
  • Chocolate tempering, creating seasonal menus etc
  • Costing skills
  • Food Hygiene Qualification (Level 2)


Your responsibilities will include:

  • To supervise the entire pastry team. Ensure that their assigned area operates efficiently and produces high-quality dishes.
  • To support with the planning and execution of dishes, as well as ensuring that the presentation and taste meet the established standards.
  • To support the training and mentoring of new kitchen staff, ensuring they understand kitchen protocols, safety procedures, and cooking techniques.
  • To assist in monitoring ingredient levels and reporting to the senior kitchen staff about inventory needs.
  • Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with regulations. Ensure the kitchen environment remains clean and organized.
