Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated In Room Dining Supervisor to join our team at The Stafford London hotel. This role requires a someone who can oversee the department and team and can deliver high class and memorable in room dining experiences. 

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the In Room Dining services, including supervising the team, monitoring guest orders, maintaining quality standards (LQA), delivering amenities, maintaining mini bars, and promptly resolving guest issues.

About the role, what will I be doing?

·         Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanour.

·         Take accurate orders over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.

·         Ensure prompt and courteous delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.

·         Respond to guest enquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and resolve them to our guest's satisfaction.

·         Supervise and train the In Room Dining team.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.

·         Monitor and uphold high service standards within the department.

·         Thorough knowledge of all menu items.

·         Monitor food presentation and quality to uphold the highest standards.

·         Adhere to food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

·         Build and maintain positive relationships with regular guests.

·         Maintain communication with the team to ensure a smooth operation.

·         Ensure that all service standards and protocols are consistently followed.

Who are we looking for?

·         Previous experience in a similar role in a hospitality setting, preferably in fine dining

·         Previous supervisory experience

·         Highly organised, multitasking individual with a positive attitude & a team player

·         Ability to manage varying needs and prioritising to ensure the best business results

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Exceptional attention to detail

·         Ability to work under pressure

·         Flexibility to work weekend, early morning and evening shifts
