Job description
Our ideal candidate is friendly, out-going, and knowledgeable with at least 2 years of NYC restaurant experience. A knowledge of classic cocktails, beer and spirits is a must. We value the hospitality driven employee, with skills in up-selling and creating a positive customer experience, while being able to perform in a high-volume, fast paced environment. We look for wait staff that are truly driven to satisfy customer needs, in terms that they stay “on top” of the clientele at their tables. Some of the things we will look at are check averages and sales, so it is important you strive to be a good salesperson while providing our guests with a high level of hospitality. If you have no NYC hospitality experience, please do not apply. Availability on nights and weekends is required for this position. This is a part-time position, with 2-4 shifts available a weekWe are a renowned bi-level restaurant, bar and comedy club that has recently expanded to Union Square in a much larger location. We offer an upscale New American menu and craft cocktails every day of the week and showcase the best and most authentic stand-up comedy shows in NYC.
