Job Summary:
We are looking for an organised, charismatic, guest-orientated individual with a sense of urgency and high attention to detail, to welcome guests and manage the reservations function of the relevant Food and Beverage outlet.
Organisational Positioning:
· Department: Food and Beverage
· Reporting to: Bart Manager
· Location: The Twelve Apostles Hotel Premises
Minimum Experience or Qualification:
· Grade 12
· Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a food and beverage guest-facing role in a 4/5* Hotel Restaurant or Fine Dining Establishment
· Experience at operator level of a Point of Sales System – exposure to Micros advantageous
· Highly presentable
· Solid English verbal and written communication skills
· Pleasant telephone manner
· Experience in Service Recovery
· Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays
Key Performance Objectives:
· To manage the outlet reservations and floor plan to optimise outlet covers while minimising “reservation congestion” in accordance with laid-down procedures
· To welcome guests and make them feel at home by following the RCH “meet, greet and seat” procedure
· To ensure that mise en place is completed in accordance with outlet SOP
· To ensure that cinema is prepared and screenings are managed in accordance with SOPs
