Description

Job Description

  • Assist the General Manager in operating two world class venues (second location will be discussed at interview) 
  • Continue to develop and drive a high-performance team
  • Actively find sustainable growth opportunities aligned with concept vision
  • Maintain the highest level of standards across all aspects of both operations.
  • Be an ambassador and champion of team culture and guest experience


Benefits:

  • 15 days paid annual leave inclusive of annual salary. Annual leave is accrued pro rata and can be compensated after completion of the 90-day probationary period

Responsibilities

  • Human Resource Requirements
    • Be committed to providing a safe work environment for all team members
    • Determine needs of all FOH staff
    • Recruitment of front line FOH 
    • On-boarding and training of new talent
    • Manage performance issues and mediate disputes internally
    • Ensure all house policies, as stated in the employee handbook, are adhered to by all team members

Day to Day Managerial Duties
  • Open and close of venue
  • Supervise, motivate and ensure high performance of all FOH team members
  • Delegation of all FOH duties, ensure all SOPs are followed and completed
  • Daily cash reconciliation
  • Tip-Pool Allocation 
  • Daily Reporting 
Broader Responsibilities
  • Ensure entertainment, ambience and venue presentation are aligned with the venue’s vision
  • Maintain DOH and SLA compliance at all times
  • Collaborate and connect with the leader team at weekly leadership meeting
  • Maintain all building requisites ensuring we’re establishing sustainable levels and have requisites on-hand at all times
  • Solve all issues in an efficient and effective manner
  • Initiate solution-based system and procedure improvements
  • Be an ambassador of our brand while building your own personal profile

Hours of Work

  • Expected hours of work for salaried staff is 50 hours per week
  • Given the nature and demands of the role, there is an expectation that all management are present for all key services, special events and management meeting 

Workplace Health and Safety

  • Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees and guests
  • Allocate sufficient resources for the practicable elimination or control of workplace hazards/associated risks to maintain a safe working environment and safe systems of work.
  • Promptly and effectively deal with occupational injury and illness through active involvement ithe return to work process. All incidents to be investigated and corrective action implemented.
