Hours: 24hr FTC (Guaranteed hours with overtime available during peak periods)

What You’ll Do

As a Commis Chef, you will:

  • Prepare Ingredients to assist the kitchen team, working closely with the Chef de Partie
  • Support Food Preparation & Cooking, ensuring dishes meet company standards
  • Maintain The Highest Standards of Hygiene, following food safety protocols at all times
  • Manage Deliveries & Stock Rotation, ensuring food items are stored correctly and used efficiently
  • Monitor Food Safety Compliance, completing daily/weekly food safety diaries and reporting any concerns

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn individual who takes pride in delivering great food. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role 
  • Basic food hygiene certification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Allergen awareness training (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A passion for cooking and a keen interest in developing your culinary abilities
  • Flexible working pattern able to work 24 hours per week with the ability to increase during peak periods.
