Job Type: Seasonal, fixed-term contract with variable hours

What You’ll Do

As a Leisure Assistant – Lifeguard, you will:

  • Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and upheld at all times
  • Deliver engaging activity sessions, ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience
  • Set up and pack away leisure equipment efficiently between activities
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the leisure facilities, including pool areas
  • Support guests with general enquiries and ensure they have a positive experience at our facilities
    Lifeguard our indoor and/or outdoor swimming pools, ensuring the safety of all guests and responding to emergencies as required (dependant on qualifications)  

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a responsible, proactive team player who is passionate about guest safety and leisure activities. You’ll have:

  • A Valid NPLQ Certificate (desirable) with the opportunity of an in-house lifeguard course being provided for the right candidates
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests of all ages
  • A positive, professional attitude with great teamwork and problem-solving abilities
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings

Desirable Skills

  • Previous activity leadership experience (Desirable)
  • GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification (Desirable)
