The Well Walk Theatre is looking for a dynamic and reliable second to our Café Manager to join our small, friendly team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys cooking and baking, and who is happy to work independently while also being a supportive presence within a close-knit operation.

About the role

  • Assisting the Café Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Cooking simple dishes and preparing pastries
  • Helping maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for families and visitors
  • Taking initiative and keeping things running smoothly when needed

Hours

  • 35–40 hours per week
  • Daytime operations only: 9am–6pm

About you

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality
  • Confident cooking skills; pastry experience a real plus
  • Independent, proactive, and well organised
  • Comfortable taking responsibility and using initiative
  • Knowledge of French cuisine and/or French language is a bonus (but not essential)

Salary

  • Salary to be discussed, depending on experience
