 We’re currently on the lookout for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead The White Horse in Blakeney, a historic 15th-century coaching inn and the village’s first hotel. Set in the heart of the picturesque North Norfolk coast, The White Horse is a much-loved pub with rooms, just steps away from stunning views over the salt marshes. As part of the Chestnut group, we offer a supportive and dynamic work environment, exciting perks, and genuine opportunities for growth. Job Requirements:

  • Lead and inspire the FOH and BOH team to achieve high standards of service.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Assistant Manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction
  •  Leading guests through all aspects of an enjoyable restaurant/hotel experience
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Wet stock management within the property
  • Drive financial performance by meeting and surpassing financial expectations.
  • Cultivate a positive and motivated work environment, ensuring all team members perform to their best abilities.
  • Report often to the operations manager
  • Cash management
