Job Title: 

Front of House Server

Winter Club, Canary Wharf  

Role Description

As part of the Front of House team at The Winter Club, you’ll help deliver a high-class guest experience in our seasonal venue. You’ll be responsible for delivering food and drinks ordered via our QR ordering system, carrying drinks on a tray, clearing tables, and ensuring visitors enjoy a smooth and enjoyable visit in the Ice Bar, beer hall, and alpine lodge areas.

Zero Hour Contract, Flexible working hours, Weekend and evening work is required.

Event runs November to February 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and drinks ordered via the QR app to tables efficiently and with enthusiasm.
  • Carry drinks on a tray safely and confidently.
  • Clear tables of used dishes and glassware.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times.
  • Assist in setting up and resetting service areas as needed.
  • Support with closing duties, including deep cleaning and tidying the venue.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Proactively suggest ways to improve service and operational processes.

Skills

Technical

  • Experience working in high-volume service operations preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable carrying drinks on a tray.

Personal

  • Flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends throughout the winter season.
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to assist the wider team.
  • Engaging and approachable manner to enhance the guest experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
