Description
  • Front of House Supervisor | The Woolpack Inn, Totford, Hampshire
Recently refurbished country pub with rooms | Field-to-fork dining | Warm, professional service

We’re looking for a confident and guest-focused Front of House Supervisor to join the team at the beautifully restored Woolpack Inn – a Grade I listed pub with rooms nestled in the Hampshire countryside.

Following a major refurbishment, The Woolpack has reopened with elegant interiors, a growing reputation for Two AA Rosette dining, and a strong focus on seasonal, local produce, including ingredients from our own Market Garden. We’re creating a destination venue that combines heritage with warm, professional hospitality – and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion.

    About the Role:

As Front of House Supervisor, you’ll help lead daily service, support the management team, and ensure every guest receives a relaxed yet polished experience. You’ll be a key presence on the floor — helping to train the team, solve problems on the fly, and keep service smooth and efficient.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead by example during busy services, supporting and motivating the FOH team

    • Deliver exceptional guest experiences with warmth and professionalism

    • Manage opening/closing duties and support daily operational needs

    • Help train and mentor junior staff to maintain high standards

    • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and delivery

    • Support events, private bookings, and daily service across bar and restaurant areas

    What We’re Looking For:
    • Previous experience in a supervisory role in hospitality (pub, restaurant, or hotel)

    • Confident leading a team and working under pressure

    • Friendly, professional, and great with guests

    • Strong organisational and communication skills

    • Passion for quality food, drink, and service

    • Flexible and happy to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends

    What You’ll Get:
    • Competitive salary + generous tips

    • A leadership role in a newly relaunched, independent business

    • Supportive team and positive working environment

    • Staff meals, uniform, and training provided

    • Real opportunity to grow with us as we build our reputation and team

If you love great service, enjoy being on the floor, and want to help shape something exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
