About the role

We are looking for an Email Marketing Executive join the team to support in executing the overall email marketing strategy. We care about our customers and so will you – working on segmentation/targeting, creative and messaging to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience when shopping at The Works. You will have strong organisational skills and a creative flair which you will use to create, manage and optimise email campaigns. This role reports to the Digital Brand Manager and involves working with a leading ESP (Email Service Provider).




Key responsibilities

  • Work within a team to help execute the overall email marketing strategy for the business including the set-up, scheduling and deployment of broadcast and automated triggered email campaigns.

  • Create, manage and optimise email marketing campaigns and be a key user of our marketing service provider, Ometria.

  • Assist in managing data including segment building, daily reporting and database flows. Be a true advocate for customer data within the team.

  • Be a key stakeholder in the execution of the marketing action plan driving key retention and loyalty objectives.

  • Content planning and scheduling using trading objectives, marketing calendars and cross department priorities.

  • Co-ordinate with the Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure all communications are on-brand, accurate, relevant, and timely.

  • Key driver of constant A/B testing in order to drive higher levels of engagement.

  • Work closely with the key stakeholders to create campaigns to increase sales, drive acquisition and increase returning customers.

  • Work closely with Creative teams to brief and influence key template designs.

  • Analyse performance using key KPIs to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development.
