Livelyhood Pub Group is on the hunt for its next inspiring General Manager to drive sales at it's local, independent, neighbourhood Pub The Faber Fox - Crystal Palace.

Our ideal General Manager will be someone who:-

• has a passion for community pubs & independent operators
• is driven to grow revenue
• is dedicated to nurturing and developing our fantastic Faber Fox team 
• is relentless in delivering to our guests the best experience every time they choose us and walk through our doors.
• bring outdoor operational experience
• genuinely believe in tweaking environments to create a cracking atmosphere

The Faber Fox is part of Livelyhood Pub Group and our General Manager will lead our  team to deliver revenue and fantastic service in a way that has our Livelyhood Purpose and our five Lively Ways (values) of Authentic, Daring, People, Lively and Sustainable at its very heart.

• There is real business opportunity at The Faber Fox and the experience you have in turning a business around and generating revenue growth is absolutely key.
• You’ll also be experienced in improving financial performances through budget management & cost controls.
• You find enjoyment in delighting guests and thrive from putting a smile on our guests, our teams & our suppliers faces, driving  from the front.
• You are committed to developing the team with ongoing training, engagement and love.
• You comfortably hold yourself accountable for the delivery of your role and role model self- accountability throughout your team.
• You enjoy collaborating with the marketing team to discuss ideas, promote events, specials  and initiatives to attract and  retain guests.
•  You’ll also bring with you your previous General Manager experience in a £20k + pub or bar and our ideal General Manager  candidate will have food-led and/or outdoor/garden experience.  Previous experience working with sport whilst not essential, would also be highly advantageous.

The Faber Fox is a fantastic looking site, occupying a prime spot on Westow Hill.

It rounds up all the best bits a neighbourhood pub can offer including: a large bar and dining space serving delicious food and drink from local suppliers and producers; a dedicated sports area featuring giant screens showing all the latest games; and a heated outdoor garden and terrace boasting some of the area’s best views out over the capital.

What's in it for you?

• A competitive salary up to £38k - £40k 

• Great service/tronc payments on top - a further £4k per annum as a good steer.   OTE £42k - £44k
