About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will provide vital administrative, sales, and marketing support while managing a portfolio of smaller accounts. You'll play an important role in generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, supporting marketing initiatives, and assisting with client events.

If you're highly organised, commercially minded, and passionate about hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Client Support

  • Research new business opportunities and generate qualified sales leads.
  • Reconnect with previous clients to secure repeat business for meetings, conferences, group bookings, and events.
  • Prepare professional sales proposals and ensure timely responses to enquiries.
  • Create and maintain accurate client records within the hotel's CRM system.

Marketing Support

  • Assist with gathering and analysing marketing data to support campaigns and reporting.
  • Prepare engaging sales presentations and marketing materials in line with brand standards.
  • Maintain marketing databases, mailing lists, and tracking systems.
  • Research competitor activity and market trends, providing insights and reports.

Event Coordination

  • Support the planning and delivery of networking events, client events, and familiarisation trips.
  • Liaise with hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Coordinate post-event follow-up, including client feedback and identifying future business opportunities.

Administration

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team.
  • Maintain organised documentation, databases, and departmental records.
  • Produce monthly sales production reports by market segment.
  • Assist with additional projects and tasks as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings energy, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, sales support, administration, or a similar commercial role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence communicating with clients and building professional relationships.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate data.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative approach and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • A polished and professional manner that reflects the standards of a five-star luxury hotel.

Why Join The Lowry Hotel?

  • Complimentary meals whilst on duty.
  • Birthday leave for all full-time employees.
  • Ongoing learning, training and development opportunities.
  • Employee discounts at The Lowry Hotel.
  • Discounted rates across Millennium & Copthorne Hotels worldwide.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering confidential wellbeing support.
  • Paid charity volunteering days, giving you the opportunity to support causes that matter to you.
  • Opportunities for career progression within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture where your contribution is valued.
