The Lowry Hotel – Manchester’s iconic five-star hotel – is recruiting for a Painter and Decorator to join our Maintenance Team.
This role involves supporting the Assistant Facilities Manager with preventative and reactive repairs, decorating and general maintenance throughout the hotel.
The primary focus of this role will be painting and decorating. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of guest bedrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, ensuring that all areas are consistently presented to the high standards expected of a five-star hotel. Alongside the core painting and decorating responsibilities, the role will also involve responding to and prioritising maintenance requests and carrying out a range of associated tasks. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience required to carry out painting and decorating to a consistently high standard, with a good eye for detail and pride in their work. You will also be comfortable undertaking associated maintenance tasks when required.

The hours of work are on a shift basis, including weekends, early and late shifts. Flexibility is therefore essential.
