·       Remove damaged or unusable linens from the rotation and report them for repair or disposal.

Handling and Transporting Linen:

·       Safely handle linen trolleys and carts, ensuring they are clean, organized, and transported without causing damage or contamination.

·       Follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols when moving linen carts or handling heavy loads.

Hygiene and Safety Compliance:

·       Adhere to infection control procedures by ensuring clean and soiled linens are handled separately to avoid cross-contamination.

·       Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling soiled linens, especially in healthcare or high-risk environments.

·       Maintain cleanliness in linen storage areas and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Support:

·       Collaborate with housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure that linen needs are met across the facility.

·       Assist with additional tasks as required, such as emergency linen distribution or special event preparations.
