As Maintenance Assistant and Driver at Another Place, The Machrie you will have a blend of responsibilities related to both vehicle operations and maintaining equipment, facilities and machinery.

What your days could look like:

Maintenance Assistant: 

• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular checks and maintenance on equipment, machinery and systems to ensure they are in good working order.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting: Perform minor repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting of faulty equipment or machinery.
• Cleaning and Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas, ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and report on the condition of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed.
• General Facility Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas (e.g., painting, basic plumbing or carpentry tasks).
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety standards are followed, reporting any hazards or safety concerns.

What you offer

• A full, clean driving licence
• Experience in a similar industry, preferably hospitality
• Knowledge of the current health and safety legislation for both driving and maintenance tasks. 
• The ability to diagnose and repair day-to-day mechanical/practical problems and make necessary repairs correctly and safely. 
• Willingness to follow instructions
• Excellent skills in maintenance issues such as re-decoration, electrics, basic plumbing and tiling
• Computer literacy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
