JOB TITLE: Housekeeping Porter

RESPONSIBLE TOHead/Executive Housekeeper

Job Overview:

Under the general direction of the Executive Housekeeper, and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, perform the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department and assists in the day planning and well as forward planning for the department.

Your role:

As a Housekeeping Porter your role is to provide operational support to the Rooms Division team in an energetic, timely and precise manner. You will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping team with a range of duties including the delivery and distribution of bed linen/towel delivery and other products throughout the hotel. You’ll also assist with the general cleaning of guest areas ensuring that they are clean, free of refuse, well maintained and staged appropriately. You’ll also be responsible for the upkeep and general presentation of guest corridors, linen cupboards and back of house service areas.

·You will maintain positive and effective working relationships within the Housekeeping Department and with all other associates.

·You will show self-initiative and display ownership for the development of your knowledge and skills to continuously raise the level of service we provide to our guests.

·Communicate effectively and assist with all incoming requests and queries.
