Pizza Chef

You will be working with an authentic Italian wood fired pizza oven, with kiln dried logs, hand stretched sour dough, home-made pizza sauce and wide selection of ingredients to top our mouthwatering pizzas.  

Food Safety remains a number 1 priority across Chilled Pubs, therefore full compliance with our health & safety procedures is mandatory. This includes ensuring your area is kept clean and tidy, food is stored correctly to avoid any cross- contamination and frequent temperature checks are undertaken.  

You must be able to work at pace whilst ensuring only the highest quality of food is produced. Our pizzas are extremely popular, and it’s not uncommon for us to make over 100 pizzas each day.  

You will need to be comfortable and happy working both independently but also as part of the wider kitchen team. You will need to take ownership of your area, tracking orders and ticket times, but also work closely with the main kitchen team to ensure efficiency and smooth running to provide our guests with the best possible experience.   

You may be asked to support in the main kitchen dependent on business needs, its essential you have a good understanding of our full menu and are confident to jump in and help in any area should it be required.

Somebody with a flexible approach to work, this isn’t a typical 9-5 role, and both evening and weekend work will be required. 

A competitive hourly rate is available of up to £13 for this position, dependent on previous experience.
