The Ridings at Theobalds is going through vast redevelopment and refurbishment. As we expand the opening of accommodation to 100 rooms and other functions and areas of the hotel, it is a very exciting place to be.

We’re looking for Hotel Receptionists who welcome our guests, maintain a positive and calm outlook, a friendly approach, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, carry out instructions, pay close attention to detail and a desire to provide exceptional customer service.

To succeed within the Hotel Receptionist role you ideally have experience of working within a hotel reception and knowledge of hotel reservations systems. You should also have good sales ability, an approachable manner, and knowledge of the MS Office suite.

Hotel Reception duties and responsibilities include:

• taking reservations,
• dealing with guests’ enquiries and assistance,
• check-ins and check-outs,
• taking payments,
• answering calls and emails and ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
