The Gym Manager will ensure that the Hotel's gym provides exceptional Customer Service to all guests and members, ensuring that quality standards are maintained whilst achieving maximum revenue and guest satisfaction.  The Health Club Manager leads the Health Club team, including leisure and fitness team; ensuring the facilities are maintained in great condition and available to our guests and members. 

With the site under  full re-development,  relaunching and regenerating the leisure facilities in full- it's an exciting time to join the hotel to lead the Gym; - 'Ownership with Personality'!

The main duties of our Gym Manager/ Leisure Manager Role include:

• To manage all Health Club operations, classes, PTs, and rota-ing to ensure Guest service levels are maintained and facilities available at all opening times
• Leadership and development of your Team, including managing, leading and recruiting- instructors and PTs.
• Ensure the rota is arranged to meet the needs of the Business and diary plans
• Pro-actively growing gym membership and income streams
• Anticipating guests’ needs- promoting services and facilities within the Hotel and local community enhancing guest satisfaction.
• To positively approach all sales opportunities in order to maximize club membership and Hotel revenue to meet and exceed budgeted targets.

Our ideal Gym Manager/ Leisure Manager has:

• Minimum 3 years Hospitality and Leisure management experience.
• Passion for fitness and leisure industry with awareness of current wellness and fitness trends
• Lifeguard qualification, First Aid Qualification, Pool Responder and Pool Plant Qualification highly advantageous
• NVQ Level 3 or YMCA Gym Instructor qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
