As we approach the opening launch of the Gym and Wellness centre at Theobalds Estate, we invite applications for Self Employed Group Cycle Instructors;

The Group Cycle instructor leads high-energy sessions that motivate members, improve cardiovascular health and deliver a fun, energetic fitness experience. The role requires strong coaching presence, rhythm and the ability to create an engaging atmosphere while maintaining safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities of Group Cycle Instructors;

1. Deliver dynamic, rhythm based or performance based cycle classes aligned with the clubs training philosophy.
2. Use clear, motivating instruction to guide members through intervals, climbs, sprints and endurance blocks.
3. Build playlists that match the class structure and enhance the training.
4. Offer intensity options to support mixed ability groups and ensure everyone trains safely.
5. Monitor member technique and bike setup, correcting form where needed.
6. Support new members with bike set up
7. Ensure the cycle studio is clean and set up before the class starts.

It is also desirable for instructors to have the flexibility to lead more classes as membership of the Gym and Wellness centre programme grows.

All applicants must hold a CIMSPA recognised Group Cycle qualification.

Instructors must hold the Right to Work in the UK, along with having insurance and tax documents available for checking.
