We’re looking for a Health Club Receptionist who bring a calm, positive energy to every guest interaction. You'll be confident communicating with guests and members as they enjoy our facilities, from reformer and spin classes, to the gym and spa garden, ensuring every experience feels special.
Our brand newly launched Health Club brings a fresh, exciting space for fitness and wellbeing, right at the heart of a stylish, historic setting. Join us and be part of something new in a location that’s as inspiring as it is convenient.
As this is a varied role at the heart of a busy hotel and health club, we are particularly looking for someone with a strong mix of skills across hotel operations, health club experience, and food & beverage.

Duties and responsibilities as our Health Club Receptionist will include:
- Take and manage class and PT bookings
- Dealing with membership enquiries on the phone and inhouse
- Greeting members and guests warmly when they arrive
- Front of House - serving drinks, shakes and light bites
- Complete operational/compliance checks such as temperature and water checks
- Taking payments for bookings/ products in the club
- Answering calls and emails, ensuring a high level of guest service at all time
This role includes rota'd shifts across, mornings, evenings and weekends. Flexible shifts between the following times:
- 6am - 10pm Mon-Fri
- 7am - 9pm Sat/Sun
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Confidence using booking systems, Microsoft Office and telephone systems
- Experience handling payments and cash transactions
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering expectational customer service
