An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and detail-oriented commercially focused Finance Director to join our dynamic team at Thesleff Group. Thesleff Group operates Los Mochis restaurant in Notting Hill and the soon-to-open flagship at Liverpool Street, Sale e Pepe in Knightsbridge, and Viajante87 cocktail bar and lounge in Notting Hill.

As the Finance Director, you will play a critical role in managing our organization's financial activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the senior management team. The role is reporting directly to CEO Markus Thesleff and COO Jean-Baptise Requien to help drive the financial strategy of their future growth.

Thesleff Group is a fast-growing collective of London's favourite restaurants and bars. We are in the business of creating amazing memories and incredible experiences for both our team and our guests. We are building on one of the leading international hospitality groups operating out of London, with experience encompassing the UK, US, Spain, and the Middle East (Dubai, Qatar,KSA).

Responsibilities:

·       Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

·       Responsible for quarterly board pack reporting

·       Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

·       Provide strategic financial guidance to the senior management team to support decision-making and drive business growth.

·       Analyse financial data and prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts to present to stakeholders.

·       Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance profitability and efficiency.

·       Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

·       Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.

·       Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.

·       Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.

Requirements:

·       Proven track record of success as a Finance Director or in a similar senior finance role.

·       In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.

·       Strong understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.

·       Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

·       Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

·       Experience in strategic planning, financial modelling, and risk management.

·       You must have a graduate degree in business or equivalent together with a professional accounting qualification e.g. ACCA, CPA

·       Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

·       Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

·       Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
